Kerala Govt has opened a new website for publishing the fair value of the Land. This data is used for the assessing tax to be paid while purchasing land in Kerala.
This is developed by cdit. A real WTF and really sucks
1) You can just reset the password of all RDO and System Admin for this application. Just one click.
2) Look at the disclaimer given in the site. Is it cool? It shows how our govt usually works and no one owns anything. Is the Dept. of Registration should own it? or some one else?
3) Look at the article by cdit director on open source. And they develop this 3rd grade apps for Govt using Microsoft technologies. Guys it is all for you. I can use any thing I like. It is time for the director to create some good applications rather than writing stories. We are paying you for good applications not for stories.

Parinamam (പരിണാമം)

The novel Parinamam (പരിണാമം) was lying with me for more than 2 years. For some reasons, I differed reading it. Last Sunday afternoon I finally took it and went on reading early morning Monday to finish it. Wow !!!!
The book is still lying on my table. When I look at it I increases my appetite like the red wine in my dinner table.
I wanted to read it from college. Some how it got missed and missed. By finally I read it, It tastes so beautiful. It was worth the wait.
A Political Satire, Detective Novel( esp the writing style has detective style) or what else. I don't care where it belongs. I just enjoyed it. I want to read it again.

Juno and More....
My friend Natasha send me a Youtube where SPB is singing a song about Mom. It is in Tamil and I couldn't understood it completely. But this reminded me of mothers day.
Then I came across this report on the state of world mothers. It is so sad to read it. It says that the discrimination by parents providing health care girl kids in India. Find the extract from the report. The main reason for the gender gaps in India and China is inequity of health care for female and male children. Son preference is deeply rooted in Indian and Chinese traditional culture, which results in discrimination against girls in nutrition as well as in preventive and curative health care. Girls in India are often brought to health facilities in more advanced states of illness than boys, and taken to less qualified doctors when ill. In both countries, less money is spent on girls’ health compared to boys. As a result, girls are less likely to receive the medicines and treatments they need. In India’s Punjab state, results of one study showed that expenditure on health care during the first two years of life was 2.3 times greater for sons than for daughters. I thought once the girl kid is born people will not show discrimination.
I saw the movie Juno couple of days back. The teenage pregnancy movie in US. The girls walks to the hospital for abortion. She walks back and deciding not to kill the baby. It is was great visual.
Happy Mothers day for all!!!

Scripted or Unscripted Drama
Mallu media is celebrating the new scandal of Santhosh Madavan. It has everything needed for news. Money, Women, Politics, cheating, Rape .... I am getting a feeling that it is a really scripted drama. Look like he being binami for some big Boss behind. Big boss wanted to kill his binami and scripting this drama.
Any way IPL unscripted drama is progressing pretty well
1) Sree getting slapped by Bhaji and the crying scenes
2) Mallaya firing Chaaru and lashing against Dravid. ( Mallaya's cricket team is better than his F1 team. No firing there or afraid of white skin? )
3) KKR giving pink slips to the bench strength.
Waiting for more fun !!!!
