I always felt lot of AD comes as news. I see most of it in TOI. Saw this article on hoot.
The job of the media is tell you that you that you suck, because you don't live best apt in town, You don't drive the latest car, You don't fly often or vacation often!!!.
News and movies are all about creating a market and communicate that you such because you don't buy things.
Most of the media today belongs to political parties or Business houses. Is there any difference between both ? Both has clear agendas. Not hidden any more.
